Ellen Ioanes

I'm a (mostly) New York-based reporter with bylines in The Intercept, Foreign Policy, The American Prospect, Business Insider, The Guardian, Vox, and more. My work ranges from analysis of US foreign policy decisions in the Middle East to political investigations, with a focus on conflict and humanitarian crises, as well as the U.S. military and defense industries.

I graduated with honors from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, and with a degree in religious studies from Davidson College.
